Knoxville (WVLT) - Just hours after taking off for it first flight to Las Vegas, Allegiant Air added Orlando to its destinations from Knoxville.
With a miniature Mickey Mouse and Cinderella saying goodbye to passengers Friday morning, Allegiant Air left McGhee Tyson with a plane load of passengers heading for Orlando.
As the new flights started, allegiant made sure some chronically ill children got a chance to enjoy the dream of a trip to Orlando.
"Allegiant Air generously donated ten round trip tickets for Orlando for the Dream Connection to use for providing dreams for kids that want to go to Disney," Danni Varlan, from Dream Connection.
Allegiant is offering non-stop flights to Orlando Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with limited one way sales fares purchased by March 3rd for $59.
