JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- A Fort Campbell soldier indicted on a charge of selling an anti-tank rocket and hand grenades to an undercover agent in Tennessee has an outstanding warrant in Kentucky.
The Jackson Sun reported Pfc. Joshua Bartlett Etherton waived his right to a detention hearing on Wednesday in federal court in Jackson and did not request bond because of the warrant.
The Sept. 30 indictment says Etherton, a 101st Airborne Division soldier, stole the weapons from the installation on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line.
According to Kentucky court records, Etherton pleaded guilty to assault in March. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department said he did not pay his court costs and fines and a warrant was issued in September.
