Knoxville (WVLT) -- Authorities still have not released any new details regarding a body that was pulled out of the French Broad River early Saturday morning.

At around 3:30 Saturday morning members from the Knoxville Police Department, Knoxville Fire Department, Knox County Sheriff's Department, and Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to a report of a drown white male in the river behind 5100 S. National Drive.

At 5:30, divers pulled the body of a 30 year old white male out of the river. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The man's name has not yet been released.

On Thursday night rescue crews spent several hours searching a stretch of the Tennessee River a few miles west of where the body was found on Saturday. Special cadaver smelling dogs, police boats, and even a helicopter assisted in that search which has still yet to locate the jumper.

We will have the latest on this story throughout the day today on and tonight on Volunteer TV News at 11.
