Knoxville (WVLT) -- A man was shot early this morning in East Knoxville.
The Knoxville Police Department received a call of shots fired just before 3:45 from 4690 Holston Drive.
When they arrived on the scene they found a man shot in the parking lot of that location.
The man was taken to Fort Sanders Hospital with a bullet wound in his right side.
His name and condition have not yet been released.
Witnesses told the police before the shooting there was an argument going on in the parking lot.
