Gatlinburg (WVLT) A fire in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has now scorched over 800 acres.
That's a big jump from the 250 acres burning on friday.
Park rangers attribute much of the increase to more exact mapping.
They say the fire is still burning entirely inside a perimeter of creeks and trails.
Park rangers say if all goes well, it'll be 100 percent contained on June 9th.
Little Bottoms Trail, Hatcher Mountain Trail, and a portion of Cooper Road Trail and Abrams Creek Trails are closed.
The trail to Abrams Falls remains open.
