ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (AP) -- A weekend fire has killed two people in northeast Tennessee.
Firefighters were called to the Siam community in Carter County on Saturday morning, where they found a mobile home engulfed in flames.
The Johnson City Press reported chief sheriff's Deputy Ron Street, who said two people escaped with burns to their upper extremities and were taken to a hospital. Two others were trapped by the fire and died.
The names of those killed were not released, but Street said all four people were related.
The officer said oxygen tanks in the trailer exploded, intensifying the flames.
