Knoxville (WVLT) - A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper that works out of Knoxville has been placed on administrative leave.
The Tennessee Department of Safety confirms Trooper Marty Nix was placed on administrative leave pending investigation on June 29th.

Bell says his office is investigating and the state is investigating.
Bell says he does not anticipate any disciplinary action against Trooper Nix.
