COSBY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Cocke County investigators say the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the attorney general's office are assisting in the investigation of a woman's death by a gunshot wound early Thursday morning.
Chief Detective Robert Caldwell says the shooting happened about 2:15 a.m. at 330 South Highway 32 in Cosby.
The victim's name and other details are not being released at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled at UT's forensic center.
