Former Knoxville priest indicted on more sex abuse charges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Father William Casey was indicted on more sex abuse charges Monday.

The Scott County, Virginia Magistrate's office tells Volunteer TV a grand jury indicted the former priest on two more charges that allegedly happened 30 years ago.

Casey most recently worked in the Knoxville Diocese and pleaded guilty to crimes against nature last week.

The new indictments that came down Monday allege Casey abused a child at the Natural Tunnel State Park in Virginia.

He is charged with carnally knowing a child under 14 by force and indecent liberties with a child.
