KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- Area shoppers once again mobbed the Knox County business community with cash.
It was part of the 9th Knox County Cash mob.
Multiple businesses were on the receiving end of Thursday's cash infusion.
A number of vendors who set up shop each week for the farmer's market, including local produce sellers and craft makers, say they saw an uptick in sales during the "mob."
Knox County Mayor, Tim Burchett, says he's pleased with how the cash mobs have been going and the national attention it brings to our area.
Mayor Burchett also says due to the approaching Winter season, this will probably be the last cash mob for the year.
