Amanda Hara washing cars, making pizza & Dancing With the Knoxville Stars

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) Dancing With the Knoxville Stars to benefit East Tennessee Children's Hospital is Friday, March 23. Tickets are sold out, but you can still help!

Local 8 News Anchor Amanda Hara and dance partner Jeremy Norris of Academy Ballroom have been practicing a routine for weeks.

Today, Amanda is washing cars at Synergy Auto Wash in Farragut. From 11:00-1:00 om get your car washed and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to ETCH!

Amanda and Jeremy talked about their upcoming performance for Dancing With the Knoxville Stars to benefit East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

Many local businesses pitched in to help with fundraising efforts, including Cornerstone Chiropractic, The Tea Room and Hard Knox Pizza all inside the Western Plaza shopping center.

Olive Garden, Bonefish Grill, Papa Murphy's Pizza, Tennessee Valley Dental and the Bed Store donated as well.

Tonight from 6:00-7:30 she will work at Papa Murphy's Take and Bake on Broadway with a portion of sales for ETCH.

On Thursday, March 21st, from 4-9 p.m. eat at Zoe's Kitchen in Bearden Hill or Turkey Creek. A portion of the proceeds will help Amanda's fundraising efforts.
