An organization gives away hundreds of gifts for free

Morgan County, Tenn. (WVLT) - The hunt is on for last minute shoppers - but these folks are skipping out on the tab.

"This year has been a rough year. My son loves the toys," said Jenny Hall.

Items Hall said she never would have been able to afford on her own.

"We just don't have the money. My husband is our only income and I'm unable to work because of work issues," said Hall.

It makes me feel really good having grown up poor and knowing what it's like for everyone else to get a big Christmas," said Director of Morgan-Scott Project, Ella Smith.

More than 800 people came out to take part.

Even though the items were free - Hall said the value of seeing her kids' faces come Christmas Day is priceless.
