KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- More than 5,000 people came out to this weekend's 47th Annual Foothills Fine Craft Show.
Shoppers were able to browse from 140 vendors.
This show is different from other craft fairs because the artists have to meet a certain level of excellence to be in the show.
Besides browsing and buying, attendees got the chance to learn more about art.
"During the show we have about 15 demonstrators and they actually show how they create their art. And it's very interactive thing, and they get a lot of people to come up and they'll show them how to do the art," said show director Dorothy Smith.
The vendors have to be a member of the Foothills Craft Guild - the oldest artisans guild in Tennessee.
