MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A benefit to help the foundation in Brittany Eldridge's memory is going on until late Saturday night.
It's an event to raise awareness for violence against pregnant women and their children.
The fundraising concert is playing at the American Legion Hall in Maryville.
The last band doesn't hit the stage until 12:45.
Anyone 13 years or older can stop by. There is a cover charge, but it goes straight to the Brittany and Zeke Foundation.
"It's an organization and it's a cause that I can actually get behind. Because I've lived in that situation where I've had a friend who was killed who was pregnant, due to some severe violence," said Lynn Pevey, who helped organize the benefit
They are also accepting brand new teddy bears to bring to children.
It's been one year since Eldridge, eight months pregnant, was found murdered in her apartment.
No one has been arrested.
