GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevier County Arson investigators are on the scene of a motel fire, after a body was found.
City leaders confirm firefighters were called to a fire at the Ski Mountain Motel on Ski Mountain Road around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
The fire was contained to a bed in one of the motel's rooms, the same room where the body was found.
The identity of the body is not being released pending the notification of next of kin.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
