KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two northbound lanes of I-75 in Campbell Co. are now open, the Tennessee Dept. of Transportation announced on Monday. One southbound lane remains closed due to the pair of landslides that forced the closure of the southbound lanes in their entirety.
TDOT managed to reopen a single southbound lane along a three mile stretch that extended from mile marker 143 two weeks ago. Both directions of traffic were reduced to a single lane upon its reopening.
TDOT has been warning driver to expect long delays and to be very careful along the route.
