Brush fires in Bell County, Ky. may have been intentionally set

Kentucky State Police believe three brush fires in the Pine Mountain State Park were deliberately set Saturday afternoon.

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT/WYMT) -- Kentucky State Police believe three brush fires were deliberately set Saturday afternoon in the Pine Mountain State Park.

Fire crews say more than 100 acres were scorched.

Troopers are talking with neighbors to learn who may have started the fires. The blazes have been contained.

Several brush fires were also reported outside of the park.

No structure damage or injuries have been reported.
