WARTBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - Visitors to the Obed Wild and Scenic River can now get access to unlimited backcountry and wild hog permits online.
According to a news release, backcountry camping permits are required but free and can be found online. Also online, wild hog hunting permits which are $5.00 each and must be accompanied with a big game hunting license.
For those who want too, you can get permits in person at the Obed Wild and Scenic River visitor center which is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time seven days a week.
