Christmas parades in full swing

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Towns all over east Tennessee are showing off the Christmas spirit.

Two of the parades today were in Seymour and Oak Ridge.

More than 100 groups, from community organizations to businesses, took part in the Secret City's parade.

There were some cool cars decked out in holiday lights. Of course, the tradition of throwing candy to kids in the crowd continued.

A number of awards were up for grabs, including the Spirit Award, for the group showing the most enthusiasm.
