Christmas tree sales good so far

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - It is only December 2, but many have already bought their Christmas trees.

Workers at Oaks Family Christmas Trees in Knoxville say business for real trees has been good so far this holiday season.

"We have a mixed crowd. We get quite a bit that happens at Thanksgiving. But as far as the weekends are concern it's the same. It progressively gets closer to Christmas we'll have more trees sold," said Jody Rush.

The busiest times to buy trees is on weekends of course. But also when shoppers get off work during the week.

This weekend, "Oaks" workers say they've sold around 100 trees.
