KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Arson investigators with the Knoxville Fire Department are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a Nixon's Deli Saturday night.
A caller reported smoke rising from the Nixon's Deli at Broadway and Rennoc Dr. came in just after 9 p.m. Sunday
No one was inside the restaurant at the time, which had just closed at 9 p.m.

It took firefighters less than an hour to extinguish the flames.
According to KFD Spokesperson D.J. Corcoran, the restaurant shared a common attic with City Salon next door. They were able to cut a trench in the roof and push the fire back.
