UNION COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Union County officers discover more than 300 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday morning.
Authorities received a call around 5:40 a.m. that a possible intoxicated driver was traveling north bound on Highway 33.
An officer spotted the truck and pulled him over within Maynardville City limits. That's when the officer noticed several packages inside the truck.

The driver, Martin Urrutia Olmeda of Knoxville, faces multiple charges including driving under the influence and manufaturing and delivering a controlled substance among other things.
The fifteen packages inside the vehicle had a total weight of approximately three hundred and thirty five pounds, according to authorities.
