CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Two people accused of killing a 22-year old and three teens appeared in a Cumberland County courtroom today.
Jacob Bennett and Brittany Moser are accused of killing Ricki Jacobsen, 22, and 17-year-olds Steven Presley and Domonic Davis, and 16-year-old Jon Lajeunesse in September.
Their bodies were found in a car on Renegade Mountain.
Moser's attorneys withdrew their motion to have all charges against her dropped.
Last week, her defense team said there wasn't enough evidence to charge Moser but as more lab tests and evidence pour in they say it's hard to prove that to be true.
Now Moser's attorneys say they plan to ask for bond in the next hearing and the family says they hope that doesn't happen.
"I think they didn't allow that Bi.. Excuse me that woman because she knows when she steps out of this jail she's gonna get killed," Angela Presley, mother of Stephen Presley, told Local 8 News.
Bennett's Attorney didn't show up for today's court appearance.
Bennett and Moser is expected to be back in court in January.
