Crimetracker: KPD: Knoxville man shot in head during argument

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) A Knoxville man was shot in the head during a late night fight in north Knoxville on Monday. Police say the victim, Bryan Batiste, was "grazed by the bullet" and taken to UT Medical Center with minor injuries.

According to the Knoxville Police Dept., the shooting happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. in the 3800 block of Probus Ave.

An argument between Batiste and the suspect escalated into a fight. That's when, police say, the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot him.

The name of the suspect is currently being withheld.
