MOUNT CARMEL, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Surgoinsville man is facing charges after Mount Carmel police found sleeping in his running car in a restaurant parking lot.

An officer tried to wake Kenneth Case, 23, but couldn't. That's when he discovered a mobile meth lab inside the car and contacted the Hawkins County Sheriff's Department to dismantle it.

The Narcotics Unit found a "one pot" meth lab and several other meth-making materials inside the car. They also discovered some marijuana and a number of hypodermic syringes.

Case was decontaminated and taken to the Hawkins County Jail.
