JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Four people were arrested in connection to a string of car break-ins in Jefferson County.
Falisha Parton and Kenneth Williams, both of Sevier County, were arrested and charged with vehicular burglary. Two juveniles were also arrested in connection to the crimes.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff G.W. Bud McCoig, they're accused of stealing from 28 cars across the county.
The sheriff told Local 8 News Parton admitted to driving Kenneth and 6 others around in a van to commit the crimes. Five of the people were juveniles including her son.
Officers recovered several weapons, a ring and other items that were reported missing. The sheriff said most of the cars were unlocked.
Four more arrests are pending. The investigation is ongoing.
