Crimetracker: Police investigating deadly motel shooting in Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Pigeon Forge Police say 21 year old Justin Dillard of Bristol, TN died Sunday night after being shot at a motel.

It happened in the parking lot of River Lodge South, 3251 Parkway.

His father, 47 year old Travis Dillard is in stable condition at UT Medical Center.

According to police, a suspect approached the two Dillards inside a white truck in the parking lot and asked them for money when the shooting happened.

The suspect took off in a large, white sedan, possibly a Buick.

Police say he is a black man with dreadlocks, about 5'10'' and weighs about 250 pounds. He had on a purple shirt and jeans.
