TEN MILE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two people were arrested on Wednesday after police find a new meth lab while they were serving an outstanding warrant related to a previous one, according to the Roane Co. Sheriff's Office. Deputies were serving the warrant on Michael Muir, who took off on foot when he saw them.
Muir left behind his two kids, as well as another woman, when he took off. He will face additional charges, the sheriff's said. His children were taken to Roane Medical Center for evaluation and the Dept of Children Services contacted.
Deputies arrested Kristi Price, of Spring City, and John Hughes, of Kingston.
The home in Ten Mile, Tenn., was quarantined. Officials noted this is the second time they've had to quarantine a home because of Muir.
