Crimetracker: Police: Fight led to Zaxby's shooting, 2 hurt

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men were taken to separate hospitals with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries Monday night after they both were shot during an argument in the Zaxby's parking lot near the UT campus.

Police say Erreese King and Anthony Davis were arguing when both men were shot. King was taken to Fort Sanders Regional Hospital, while Davis went to UT Medical Center. Neither victims' wounds appear to be life threatening.

KPD spokesperson Darrell DeBusk noted both men have "lengthy criminal records."

He added that King has been uncooperative so far and indicated he had no intention of pressing charges. Officials expect to meet with Davis again on Tuesday.
