JACKSBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Campbell Co. Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of the man it believes is responsible for a string of burglaries in the northern part of the county.
Randy Monday was taken into custody during a traffic stop early Monday morning, according to Sheriff Robbie Goins.
Monday was initially arrested for violating a probation warrant, Goins said. He expects charges for the burglaries to come later Friday.
Goins believes Monday, who he described as a career criminal, is responsible for breaking in to several homes, a business, and a church, mainly in and around Morley.
He credited members of the criminal investigation team, the SWAT team, and patrol units for their exhaustive effort over the past few days in finding Monday.
