BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Firefighters say a brush fire spread to a nearby building catching a Blount County cycle shop on fire.
The fire started just after 5:30 on Friday evening. Owners say they heard a popping noise and went outside to see what was going on, that's when they found a fire.
Firefighters say they arrived on scene at the Six Mile Cycle Shop to find a large fire that had engulfed the building.
"They had a lot of fire, coming from the building and of course I was on Alcoa Highway so they had a tremendous fire on their initial response," said Blount County Fire Chief Doug McClanahan.
No one was hurt in the fire. Owners hope that enough was salvaged that they can reopen quickly.
