Conventional wisdom says school gym classes make a big difference in kids' weight. But a report in the New England Journal of Medicine, which goes on sale Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, says this is one of many myths that are detracting from real solutions to the nation's weight problems. According to the report, gym classes often are not long, often or intense enough to make much difference. (AP Photo/M. Spencer Green, File)

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- A group of kids traded in their school books for some dancing shoes.

It is part of a campaign with United Healthcare to fight childhood obesity. Hundreds of kids filled the Clarence Brown Theatre for Thursday's lesson, exercising.

They used Xbox Dancing and Moving along with Dance Revolution.

Tenn. has the highest rate of physical inactivity in the country.
