Dandridge woman dies after home catches fire

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - An elderly Jefferson County woman has died after a fire in her mobile home.

The flames broke out around 7:00 on Applewood Way in Dandridge.

Firefighters found the woman inside the home, and she was suffering from cardiac arrest.

Crews started CPR and were able to revive her.

She was taken Jefferson Memorial Hospital where she later died.
The cause of the fire is not known.
