JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- An inmate mistakenly released from the Madison County Jail has been recaptured.
The Jackson Sun reported that Terron Kinnie, was accidentally released Friday.
Sheriff's Lt. Jerry Elston says Kinnie was taken into custody in East Jackson about 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Elston said the Sheriff's Office received a tip about where Kinnie could be found.
Elston says Kinnie ran to try and avoid arrest, but officers were able to catch him.
Prosecutors will determine if he will face any additional charges.
