Drive by shooter fires into home with 4 year old & toddler inside

ATHENS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men were arrested in connection with a drive by shooting in Athens where they allegedly fired into a home where a four year-old and fifteen month-old were, according to the Athens Police Dept.

Darnell Alloway and Brenda Hale were home with the kids Tuesday night and told police three or four rounds were shot into the house, 1701 Ingleside Ave. No one was hurt in the shooting.

They told authorities that Jordan Jackson had been threatening to shoot the house up due to a previous arrest. They said Jackson was driving a dark Ford Focus which an officer spotted near Cook Dr. and King St.

Jackson stopped at home on King St. and was taken into custody, while his passenger Cory Ferguson ran into the home before being arrested.

Both men were taken tot he McMinn Co. Justice Center. Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
