OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An elderly woman had to go to the hospital Wednesday morning after driving into the TitleMax Title Loans building in Oak Ridge.
Police say it happened at the location on South Illinois avenue around 10:45 a.m. Emergency crews say she didn't know what caused her to drive into the building, and it may possibly be a medical issue. She was taken by ambulance to Methodist Medical Center to be examined.
The woman had one passenger in the car with her. That person was not hurt.
The business stayed open, but a code enforcement officer came out to make sure everything was structurally sound.
