KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has lifted an Endangered Child Alert has been lifted after the 4 year-old Kingsport girl was found by local police. The Alert was issued early Friday morning for Saran Malone.
Authorities said Saran's non-custodial mother, Jonnie Hammonds, took her from her Kingsport home a day after Christmas. Hammonds, 23, currently faces several outstanding warrants for meth manufacturing and parole violation. She is also expected to face charges for abducting her daughter.
Prior to Saren's recovery, police believed her last known location was near Lovell Road in Knoxville Thursday night.
Police believe Hammonds is traveling in a full size silver pick-up, possibly a Dodge Ram or Ford F150 with an unknown Tennessee license plate registered in Robertson County
She may be with two men and they may be headed to Springfield, Tenn., police added.
Authorities described Hammonds as a white woman, with either red or blonde hair, blue eyes, 5'1", weighs 165 pounds and has tattoos on her back and either side of her neck.
