KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The New Harvest Park Farmers Market is opening for new season and another year of people looking for fresh fruits and vegetables on Thursday.
The farmers market opens at 3 p.m. in New Harvest Park at 4700 New Harvest Lane in Northeast Knox County.
It will be open every Thursday until November.
In a statement, Knox Co. Mayor Tim Burchett said, "The New Harvest Park farmers market is a great place to get fresh and local fruits and vegetables in an area of the county not served by other markets."
