Fire displaces two North Knoxville families

NORTH KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Two families are looking for a place to stay after a fire rips through the North Knoxville duplex they were living in.

The fire broke out around 7:30 Saturday evening, on Clover Road, near Clinton Highway.

Fire investigators tell us a good amount of structural damage was done to the building.

Smoke detectors alerted those inside to the danger, while neighbors called 911.

One person was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.

Arson investigators were on the scene, but no word on what sparked the blaze.
