KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Fire Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fire that woke everyone in an East Knoxville home on Tuesday morning.
According to a Knoxville Fire Dept. spokesperson, the residents of the home on Robert Huff Lane awoke around 7:30 a.m. smelling smoke in their home and called 911. Everyone was outside by the time firefighters arrived.
Crews found a fire burning between the wall and attic and were able to put it out quickly.
Nobody was hurt in the fire and the Red Cross is on alert if needed.
