KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Firefighters "aggressively attacked" an attic fire at a north Knoxville home late Thursday afternoon, managing to get it under control within ten minutes, according to the Knoxville Fire Dept.
Emergency crews were called to the Western Heights home shortly after 3:00 p.m. When they arrived, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from the attic.
Everyone inside the home managed to make it out safely.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
