Crimetracker: Fugitive arrested in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevierville Police have arrested a man wanted for stealing a vehicle in Virginia.

Sevierville Police say they have arrested, William Scott Burk, 57, of Madisonville, TN, and held him for being a fugitive from justice and theft of a vehicle.

According to Sevierville Police, Burk was wanted in Chesterfield County Virginia and listed his home address as Madisonville, TN. Arrest warrants from Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office are for grand larceny (stolen vehicle).

Burk is being held until he's picked up by Chesterfield County authorities.
