MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The Hamblen County Sheriff's Office busted a gambling ring in Morristown Saturday night.

Sheriff Esco Jarnigan said the raid happened in the 400 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

Deputies recovered a gun and thousands of dollars in poker chips.

The sheriff said the building where the gambling took place was set up like a make-shift casino.

The person accused of being in charge of the ring has been arrested. Twenty-three people have been cited for their role in the operation.

Neighbor complaints lead to the bust.
