GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Gatlinburg Bypass will close on Tuesday near Newfound Gap Road for some roadwork.
Resurfacing work will begin on Tuesday and is expected to be completed the same day. Weather delays, however, could extend the project.
The Gatlinburg Bypass will be closed beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 25 and remain closed for the remainder of the day. Newfound Gap Road will remain open, but will be restricted to one-lane traffic during improvements.
