SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier County Grand Jury has indicted a man after a crash killed 3 people in July.
According to the district attorney's office, Shaun Russell Dunlap, 27, of Maryville faces a number of charges including vehicular homicide for the deaths of three people, and assault charges for one person who was seriously hurt in the wreck.
According to THP, Dunlap's Ford Ranger pickup crossed the centerline on Wears Valley Road and hit head on with a Honda Civic. THP says Ashish Dembla, 26, and his parents, Satpal Dembla, 57, and Anjali Dembla, 52 all died in the accident.
Dunlap was arrested on $50,000 bond and is expected in court on January 28 to face his charges.
