KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT)-- One hundred and three years ago, the Vols beat Maryville College 13-0, that same year Knoxville High School opened up.
That grand old building will now be redeveloped into senior housing.
Monday night the Knox County Commission voted 9 to 2 to sell the building to Family Pride Corporation and Southeastern Housing Foundation. They in turn say they'll spend 13.5 million dollars to turn the historic building into 100 units for senior living.
