Fire damages Knox County home

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Saturday morning house fire damaged a Knox County home off Tazewell Pike.

Knoxville fire crews arrived at 5114 Hyatt Road around 10 AM after a neighbor saw smoke.

Dispatch reported that no one was home during the fire, but some relatives arrived on the scene prior to fire crews.

Half of the home was damaged. No one was injured.

Police said the fire began in the kitchen. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
