LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (AP) -- For a second holiday season, the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg is donating more than $100,000 to help troops and their families travel during the holiday season and is asking the public to help support this campaign.

Last year's Operation Ride Home effort helped send 721 Fort Campbell, Ky., soldiers and their families travel vouchers and prepaid debit cards for gas, lodging and food.

The distillery this year is seeking to expand the effort by partnering with the Armed Services YMCA of the USA, a military charity that helps junior enlisted military families nationwide.

Country music star and Army veteran Craig Morgan is a spokesman for the campaign and appears in an online video that can be seen at http://www.jdoperationridehome.com .
