KPD investigating robbery at Dollar General

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knoxville Police are investigating a robbery at a Dollar General store.

It happened on the 3700 block of Sutherland Avenue just before 8:30 p.m.

According to KPD, the assistant manager stated that a man walked in the store with a gun and demanded money from the safe. When the employee gave him the money, the suspect fled on foot.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
