KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- At about 10 a.m. Saturday morning, a Knoxville Police Department Officer was involved in a car accident on Hill Avenue near Howard Baker Jr. Blvd. in Knoxville.
The officer and the other driver were both taken to UT Medical Center for evaluation for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
